Mr. Musk, who became US citizen in 2002, calls himself “half Democrat, half Republican”, “politically moderate” and “independent”.

He still participates in political debate.

He suggested that China establish “special administrative zone” in Taiwan and proposed terms to resolve Ukraine war that many of countrys top leaders rejected.

Mr. Musk provided Starlink satellite internet to Ukraine. But he was criticized for denying Kyivs emergency request to activate Starlink in Sevastopol, major Russian navy port.

In Texas, he moved to protest Californias regulations and high taxes, clashed with union organizers & called coronavirus lockdowns “fascist” in spring 2020.

He also criticizes President Joe Biden for ignoring Tesla while promoting electric cars.

Because Tesla addresses major human issues like climate change, he considers his businesses philanthropy.

He is one of most prominent figures concerned about super intelligent AIs threat to humanitys future, despite his interest in AI.

He believes artificial intelligence and declining birth rate could lead to “not enough people” in world.
